And I'm not even going to lie, all of this stuff going on in Ukraine (i.e. the fact that we might be heading into an actual maritime war, for the first time in a long time) freaks me out more than a bit. Crossing fingers that your boy stays safe. (YOUR BOY? IS IT A THING??? UPDATES!!!)
lol, will update soon i promise. It was a...interesting trip to say the least. We had little time to ourselves because his parents booked adjoining rooms!!!! And then i spent the next three days with Sean, his mom and dad and zero times to ourselves.
Of course, nothing is official. Not with him. But the trip itself was good except for the crying and arguing and general cold ass weather. This trip proved my life may be a sitcom.
And i don't watch the news cause it's depressing. Maritime War?!?!?! Ukraine?!?!?! WTF?
hells teeth, i didn't know "maritime war" was a thing in re: ukraine. i've been keeping half an eye on the ukraine situation but not so much the US response to it. I know a sailor currently on a ship out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and i would prefer he not end up being destroyed by Vladimir Putin.
and yeah sooooooo....update? some of us have been wondering all weekend....
