I'm surprised to learn...

That i am not the only one who has no idea what they want to do with their life.

Interesting revelation.

hmm...I'm curious about your Am.Lit class - what else are you reading? Franklin was kind of an interesting, eccentric guy. but i am no fan of the 18th century (as far as lit goes) so i feel for you. i really do.

oh yes: my life as an english major has been surrounded by gay boys and one or two straight but utterly unappealing boys.

re: your family. you're a good kid, beckett. i admire the way you cope with your mom and your brother. it isn't easy.

yeah: summer school, and caretaking your family. you kick ass. you've got your shit together in a big way. i really admire that, too.

YOU are awesome.

(oh, and that elevator hottie who was talking to you about the weather? i think he was hitting on you, hon).

That means a lot Kbryna. I sometimes feel like i don't have anything together and am at the fringe of falling apart.

We have just started reading Weiland, and we are planning to read The Bluest Eyes towards the end of summer session. In between we will be reading american narratives and such.

You wouldn't BELIEVE how many people are in that boat... even us "grown ups" sometimes wonder what we want to be someday! :)
