Other Side Of The World
by Kt Tunstall

Over the sea and far away
She's waiting like an iceberg
Waiting to change
But she's cold inside
She wants to be like the water
All the muscles tighten in her face
Buries her soul in one embrace
They're one and the same
Just like water

The fire fades away
Most of every day
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the otherside of the world to me

On comes the panic light
Holding on with fingers and feelings alike
But the time has come
To move along

The fire fades away
Most of every day
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the otherside of the world

Can you help me?
Can you let me go?
And can you still love me
When you can't see me anymore?

The fire fades away
Most of every day
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the otherside of the world
The otherside of the world
You're the otherside of the world to me...

Hmmmm

You seem to listen to a lot of music I have never heard at.

That is a sad song. But if distance is the only obsticle it is easy to overcome. Unless, of course, is the distance that we share with our neighbours. That is near impossible to travel across.

It's from Slaughterhouse 5 by Vonnegut. On the Gravestone of the main character are the words Everything is Beautiful and Nothig hurt. I don't know why that line was just so beautiful to me, probably cause i realize with the main character how much the statement was a total lie. Because Everything is not beautiful and it all seems to hurt, but i think the belief that the statement is true reassures us, and gets us through the day. So that's where the title for this blog came from.
