Yesterday was a good day and considering i hate sunday's that saying a lot. My mom is not an avid cooker, she once served us salt and pepper chicken. It tasted just as it sounds. It was chicken dashed with salt and pepper and thrown in the oven. Needless to say, it was feed to the garbage monster.
But there are some days, when she literally turns in to the cooking monster and wipes up surprisingly good things. One night at like 11 she decided that she wanted we just needed to make french toast. It was alright. Any way she was in a soup mood yesterday and we made like 3 soups that clearly now are sitting in the fridge b/c we made soup for a whole army brigade. It was a calm day, until my brother took my cell phone...and then the day went to shit again. It's sad that one bad event can ruin your whole day.
